Who I Work With
Anxiety & Stress
You've been holding it together, and it's taking more out of you than anyone knows.
Identity & Purpose
You're figuring out who you are apart from what others expect of you.
Faith & Mental Health
You love God and you're struggling, and you want a counsellor who won't make you choose.
You Might Relate to This
- Church taught you to be strong, but no one told you what to do when you're not.
- You feel guilty for struggling when you "should" be grateful.
- You're navigating family or cultural expectations.
- You're in a season of change and feel unsure of your direction.
- You want therapy, but cost has been a barrier.
- You want a down-to-earth, non-judgmental space.
A Note from Olivia
I try to make therapy feel like a warm, down-to-earth conversation, not a clinical appointment. Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to have the words for it yet. If your faith is important to you, it's welcome here, as much or as little as you'd like. If it isn't, that's completely fine too. My job isn't to challenge what you believe. It's to help you think honestly, without judgment.
About Olivia (Jooyoung) Kim
Student Therapist (Master's practicum) · Clinically supervised by Michael Kang, M.Div., RP (CRPO #004333)
Supervised by Michael Kang, RP
Languages: English, Korean
Olivia brings a warm, thoughtful, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. She understands that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and works to create a space where clients can be honest about what they're going through without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out.
Olivia works with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, and questions around identity and purpose. She is especially interested in helping clients better understand the patterns that keep showing up in their lives and relationships, while building practical ways to move forward. For clients who want faith to be part of therapy, Olivia is also comfortable integrating a Christian perspective into the therapeutic process. Faith is never assumed or imposed, and therapy is always shaped around the individual client's values and goals. Olivia's style is relational, compassionate, and collaborative. Her goal is for therapy to feel like a place where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
